    Gustavo Tsuboi was the last player to get ticket at the Latin American Olympic Qualification Tournament held in Santiago de Chile. The Brazilian player was the top seed and was expected to win in the first day but he suffered the resistance of the other Latin American players.

    Kanak Jha of the United States was the last male player to get a ticket to Rio 2016 at the North American Qualification Tournament. The 15-year-old player defeated his compatriot Timothy Wang in the deciding match. Yijun Feng of United States and Eugene Wang of Canada qualified in the previous days.

    Puerto Rico Attends Olympic Table Tennis For The 1st Time

    There is always the first time for everything and for Puerto Rico, their first appearance in the Olympic table tennis competition will be taking place during the upcoming Rio Olympics. Last weekend, after the Latin America Olympic Qualifier was held, 15-year old Adrian Diaz from Puerto Rico successfully earned her place in the Olympic table tennis.

    Adriana Diaz made history again for Puerto Rico. Last year she she became world team cadet champion and gave the first world title to Latin America and Puerto Rico. Yesterday the raising star was the first Latin American player to secure a place in the Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

    Chartres suffered its second defeat in the 2015-16 French League. Robert Gardos & Co. were beaten by Angers in the 13th round and by La Romagne in the 14th round but remains in the second place. On the contrary, Pontoise-Cergy emerged successfully and collected its 12th win.

    Brazil swept the podium at the 2015 Aquece Rio International Tournament, Olympic Test Event, held from 18 to 21 November in Rio de Janeiro. The host nation collected the titles in women's singles, men's and women's teams. Paul Drinkhall captured the title in the singles event. Besides the competition, the tournament was a test to prepare for the 2016 Olympic Games.

    Latin America and Europe emerged as champions of the 2015 World Cadet Challenge's team events. Latin America made history after beating Asia and Europe, and winning the world title for first time. Europe won claimed the title as it emerged successfuly over Asia. This is the third world cadet title for the Old Continent.

    North Korean Pair Wins Women’s Doubles Title

    Miu Hirano and Mima Ito are two of the most promising young players from the Japanese Team. At a young age they have already proven their strength but against the North Korean pair in the finals of the Women’s Doubles today, Hirano and Ito struggled. Eventually, Kim Hye Song and Ru Mi Gyong controlled the game and successfully won the title.

    Zhang and Wang are the 2015 North American Champions

    United States swept the podium at the 2015 North American Championships. Lily Zhang and Timothy Wang emerged as champion in the singles event. Zhang fought back to beat Canada's Mo Zhang in the final, while Timothy Wang defeated Canada's Pierre-Luc Theriault in the men singles. United States won the team events.
