Chuang Chih-Yuan won the 2016 Hungarian Open (VIDEOS)

Chuang Chih-Yuan is the 2016 Hungarian Open's champion. The Taiwanese player showed no mercy to his teammate Chen Chien-An in the final and collected the first World Tour's title of 2016. In men's doubles Chuang and Huang Sheng-Sheng captured the title. In U21 men's singles Lim Jonghoon of South Korea was crowned champion. 

Chuang Chih-Yuan clinched the first title of the 2016 World Tour circuit. The Taiwanese player kept the top seed and won the 2016 Hungarian Open. In semifinals Chuang defeated France's Simon Gauzy by 9-11, 12-10, 13-11, 14-12, 8-11 and 11-5. In the final Chuang faced his teammate [Chen Chien-An]]. 

Chen had to face his compatriot Chiang Hung-Chieh but the latter withdrew for injury. In the final Chuang showed his supremacy and sealed his victory by 11-6, 11-8, 11-4 and 11-3.

Previosuly Chuang had won the title in men's doubles. He and Huang Sheng-Sheng overcame Belgium's Robin Debos and Cedric Nuytinck by 11-7, 11-2, 2-11 and 11-7. In semifinals the Taiwanese pair didn't face its teammates Chen Chien-An and Chiang Hung-Chieh for Chiang's injury. In the first semifinal the Belgian pairing overcame Russia's Alexey Liventsov and Mikhail Paykov by 11-8, 6-11, 11-8 and 11-4. 

In the U21 men's singles Lim Jonghon captured the title. He stood victorious over Poland's Jakub Dyjas by 4-11, 12-10, 11-4 and 11-6 in semifinals and France's Can Akkuzu by 11-5, 11-8 and 11-5 in the final. To reach the final, Akkuzu defeated Hong Kong's Ho Kwan Kit by 8-11, 11-6, 11-9, 5-11 and 11-9.
