Feng Tianwei missed 2015 SEA Games's title (VIDEOS)

Singapore swept the podium at the 2015 South East Asian Games but it couldn't win the title in the women's singles. Feng Tianwei suffered an unexpected defeat against Thailand's Suthasini Sawettabut and lost any chance to be in semifinals. 

SEA GAMES. Singaporean team couldn't win all the gold medals at the 2015 South East Asian Games held at home soil. Gao Ning and Co. won all the titles of the men's event but the women team didn't follow its teammates' steps. 

Lin Ye and Zhou You won the first title for Singapore in women's doubles. They beat Feng Tianwei and Yu Mengyu in the final. Malaysia's Ho Ying/Lee Rou Yuo and Thailand's Nanthana Komwong and Suthasini Sawettabut got the bronze medal. 

In women's team the Singaporean team with Feng Tianwei, Isabelle Li Siyun, Lin Ye, Yu Mengyu and Zhou Yihan clinched the title. They overcame Thailand in the final. THe bronze medal went to Malaysia and Vietnam. 

But in the women's singles Feng Tianwei and Isabelle Li Siyun were beaten in the group phase and lost their chances to reach semifinals. Feng was surprised by Thailand's Suthasini Sawettabut by 11-9, 12-10, 11-7 and 11-9.  Eventually, Sawettabut got the first place as she overcame NG Sock Khim of Malaysia in the final. Vietnam con the third place wth Mai Hoang My Tang and Mguyen Thi Nga

In the men's singles Gao Ning won the title after defeating Philippines' Richard Gonzales in the final. Zhe Yu Clarence Chew of Singapore and Pasasak Tanviriyavechakul of Thailand got the bronze medal.
