Sichuan Aims To Be In Top 8 This Season (Video)

The Sichuan Team has been present in the Chinese Super League in the past seasons that is despite their struggles in the competition. In every season, they are always ranked at the bottom and this time, they would like to achieve a much better performance. According to their coach, they are aiming to be in the top 8 teams. 

Sohu Sports. The Chinese Super League is probably the hardest table tennis league in this world and the Sichuan Team aims to improve their status this season. 

In the past successive seasons, the Sichuan Team struggled to stay alive in the Chinese Super League. They always have been in the bottom. 

As the new season is about to start, Sichuan’s coach expressed his optimism. In an interview, he would want his team to avoid the relegation and that he hopes that through his efforts, the team will be able to proceed much further in the competition. 

“This year, we will fight to be in the top 8.” Head coach Zheng Zhanggong said. 

In order to achieve this, the team has hired a new player and he is the player from Chinese Taipei, the one who defeated Zhang Jike in the 2013 World Team Cup, Chen Chien An.
