Asian and European players saw changes in October's world ranking after the Continental Championships held in September. Ai Fukuhara got some benefits after competing in Thailand and reached her best world ranking ever. Ding Ning remains at the top, although she withdrew for injury.

Ai Fukuhara reached her best world ranking ever. The Japanese star climbed from 6th to the 4th place in October's world ranking after her participation at the 2015 Austrian Open and 2015 Asian Championships. She is followed by her teammate Kasumi Ishikawa

Ding Ning was forced to withdraw from the 2015 Asian Championships, but she stays in the first place. Liu Shiwen is in the second place and Zhu Yuling, the 2015 Asian champion, didn't move from her third place either.
