The 2013 Japan Open starts on Wednesday with the group phase. Kasumi Ishikawa and Ai Fukuhara are the top seeds in the women's event. Other players in the competition are: Gu Yuting, Kristin Silbereisen, Shan Xiona, Lee Ho Ching, Yu Mengyu, Matilda Ekholm and LI Jiao.
