Sun Beibei and Yu Mengyu had a good start in the match with a 5-2 lead in the first set. Later in the round, the pair from Singapore increased their momentum and their advantage as well with 8-2. Ishikawa and Hirano scored four more points before Sun and Yu nailed the first set.
The two pairs started the second round very close and tied in 2-2, 3-3, then in 4-4. Throughout the set, both pairs fought very close and were leveled in every point. This time, it was the Japanese pair that had set point advantage in 10-9. However, Sun and Yu managed to level in 10-10. After another tie in 11-11, Hirano and Ishikawa leveled in 1-1 with 13-11.

Hirano and Ishikawa had their momentum and posted a 6-3 lead in the fifth set. However, in the later part of the set, Sun and Yu managed to overtake in 8-7, then in 10-8. Japan saved two more points, leveling in 10-10, then in 11-11. After two more ties, Sun Beibei and Yu Mengyu earned their third set with 15-13.
In the sixth set, both pairs tied in 7-7, 8-8, then in 9-9. After the tie, Japan ended the round with 11-9, forcing a deciding match. In the seventh round, Ishikawa and Hirano nailed the first five points. After reaching their eighth point, Singapore narrowed their gap in 7-8, and eventually tied in 10-10. After the tie, Sun Beibei and Yu Mengyu successfully earned the Women's Doubles title in the 2011 Morocco Open.
